A New tool invented that explains the legal resources available to veterans

A guide was recently released, available both online and in print.  The guide is intended to educate all the veterans and also the active service members, so that they know the legal resources available for their use.

The guide has a total of 33-pages and was developed by the attorneys from the Office of Attorney General in Virginia. The guide has a list and explains all the state and federal statutes that are designed for citizens who are serving in the armed forces and those who have served in the forces.

The guide has been broken down into categories and sections of legal expertise, which include:

  • Employment
    • Consumer Protections
    • Education
    • Taxes
    • Family Law

In addition to the above sections, there is also a list of organizations that provide legal advice and representation.
