The Hideaway, is a bed and breakfast located on Bois Blanc Island, MI. The island is truly a diamond in the rough. It spans 12 miles long and 6 miles wide, located in Lake Huron, and features six inland lakes of its own. The Hideaway is a remote retreat, that offers tranquility of nature and a chance to reconnect and unplug.

While the island offers natural charm, it also has modern accommodations, including a diner, a general store, a tavern, and, of course, The Hideaway. Our bed & breakfast is a little slice of heaven nestled on 25 acres overlooking the Straits of Mackinac, just minutes by boat from world-famous Mackinac Island and Cheboygan. Our spacious home has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway for two or a place for the whole family.

At The Hideaway, we serve a breakfast that is homemade daily with a rotating menu that includes, but isn’t limited to, toast made from homemade bread, fresh waffles, and delightful stuffed French toast. We also serve quiche, along with old-time favorites like eggs, fried potatoes, pancakes, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Our home offers fully equipped guest kitchens with staggered kitchen use times, as well as grills on the premises for preparing your meals, including the fish you catch just offshore.

Our bed and breakfast is unique in that all of our seven bedrooms come in various shapes and sizes. So, what makes each room so special? No room was built or decorated the same way, giving each one its own personality.
