A short one-hour drive from Philadelphia to the east & one hour from Harrisburg to the west, The Barn at Strasburg is the perfect place for a relaxing visit, any day of the week. 

Though we are close to downtown Lancaster, we are also close to the outlet stores of Route 30, and are near many different shows and museums! However, we manage to maintain our warm hometown personality.

When visiting The Barn at Strasburg you will enjoy one of our 3 guest rooms with private baths. The MASTER SUITE will especially pamper you with an oversize whirlpool tub & king size bed. The GARDEN SUITE, with a luxurious king bed features a romantic, claw-foot bathtub. The SHAKER SUITE, inspired by the uncluttered & simplistic styles of those historic craftsmen, retains the most noticeable attribute of the original structure... beautifully exposed hand-hewn beams. Once inside, you'd never know this was a real barn!

Our generous home-cooked breakfasts are served either in our Gathering Room or weather-permitting, on our private back patio. A microwave & refrigerator with late-night snacks are also there for your convenience. Cable TV, DVDs and WiFi are available in each room.

So come and enjoy our century-old barn, which was renovated in 2006. Lancaster architects & contractors were called upon to renovate the barn for a new generation and a creatively different use as 3 distinct units of exquisitely designed guest rooms & a 'gathering room' in the middle. Main furnishings were secured from Amish craftsmen!
