At Class Act Charters in the Chesapeake Bay area of Maryland, Captain Bobby Marshall is a lifelong waterman, who most feel was born with a fishing rod in his hand. Hands down, he is one of the best there is in these parts.
Born and raised on the water, he has owned and operated a variety of vessels over the years including the skip jack Virginia W. built in 1904. His career includes oystering, crabbing, gill net fishing, tug boat captain, and his favorite- line fishing for the biggest and best game fish the Chesapeake has to offer! USCG certified with a 500 ton near coastal captain’s license, Captain Bobby knows what he’s doing on the water.
Class Act Charter Fishing is one of the best in the Chesapeake Bay area. Based out of Tilghman Island, we service St. Michael’s, Oxford, Cambridge and the surrounding area.
Anglers of all skill levels are welcome. We fish with the lightest tackle possible to ensure the best challenge in catching a variety of fish. Experienced anglers- we’ll let you handle as much as you are comfortable with. Inexperienced anglers- we’ll take the time to show you and assist as needed. We enjoy taking families out and insure the children share in the great excitement of a good catch!
You experience more than just fishing. Come relax on the boat, see various historical sites, hear a good yarn or two (and maybe some real history), bird watch and get away from the rat race for a while. We fish 3 season:
SPRING FISHING Spring fishing starts May 1. Trophy Rockfish up to 65 pounds are the prize to catch! Come and reel a big one in!
SUMMER FISHING We fish for a variety of Chesapeake fish. Rock, Blues, Drum, Sea Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Perch, Spot, Croakers, Red Fish, Flounder are all fair game.
FALL FISHING Larger Rockfish make their way from the ocean once again. Jig, cast or troll for large Rockfish and Bluefish until the Bay water chills and they migrate South.
So, if you are visiting St. Michael’s, Oxford, Cambridge and want to have a real Chesapeake experience, give us a call. We are willing to come to your dock to pick up your group (additional fee may apply). We look forward to sharing some Chesapeake heritage with you. https://www.classactcharterfishing.com/
